Dragon Age: Origins

Okay... after playing for over 40 hours straight the release week, I finished my first run through with Dragon Age: Origins... I am currently working on finishing my second character. I honestly think I am no where near done with this game. There is so much to do... so much to capture your attention... Damn, I'm Bioware's bitch. I pray at their alter in joy for this game and eagerly await their next beauteous piece of gaming wonder-crack.

Right now... back to Dragon Age!

On another note... I have been listening non-stop to the new Breaking Benjamin album, Dear Agony... I highly recommend it. But, of course, they are one of my favorite bands of all time.

I'm guessing you've done some of the Expanded Universe reading. Did you also happen to play the "Knights of the Old Republic" games? They're based 1000 years or so before the events in the movies.

It seems like the Republic historically has always had issues ^.^

Ah yes, KOTOR, I have indeed played those games... I also hope to have a job in time to play the Star Wars Old Republic MMO... it looks beautiful. I am a Star Wars lover... it's just one of the most interesting worlds, an amalgamation of scifi and fantasy, rolled up into one beautiful masterpiece of a universe.

Are they actually going to finish "Old Republic?" Seems like that has been on the "coming soon" list for quite a while now. I worry that Bioware might be getting distracted with other things - like Dragon Age: Origins.

I'm waiting for the KOTOR II Restoration Mod to finish, though I suspect that project is dead as well. No updates since April. Too bad.

Star Wars always takes me back to the awe I had as a kid. I don't think I'll ever lose that feeling.

Always nice to talk to a fellow fan.

from everything I've seen, Old Republic is actually happening... they just love to show us every step they're making, the most recent was a walkthrough with the character classes they have finished so far.

BTW, Dragon Age is beautiful... I am thuroughly addicted. I've played through twice... and continue to play.

Maybe Knights will be ready by my next birthday ^.^ (next October).

I was skeptical originally when I heard it was going to be an online/multilayer game. I'm hoping for the same sense of magic I got with KOTOR.

Good to know about Dragon Age - I've been kind of pondering picking it up or not. EA's page has a collector's edition that looks interesting.
